This puppy training class focuses on all the things every puppy and guardian need to have a great start together. We cover basic manners and include preparation for, and administration of, the AKC STAR Puppy Test so that your puppy can receive their award from the American Kennel Club. STAR stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner. We will cover training foundations, address unwanted behaviors and teach skills like sit and down, as well as prepare your pup for real-life scenarios like trips to the vet or groomer. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy prepares pups to move on to Canine Good Citizen training. Runs for five consecutive weeks on the same day and time after attending one hour orientation.
